Human Visual Field 1/7

By Keith Hartwig

Dimensions: 24 in x 12 in x 20 in

Weight: 5.00 lbs

Medium: Fiberglass, Inkjet Print, Resin

(Back Yard of El Bar in Kensington) Human Visual Field was installed adjacent to Paula Scher’s map installation Philadelphia Explained at the Temple Contemporary Gallery in 2015. In contrast to the broad picture of Philadelphia portrayed in the map, these images offer an intimate glimpse into everyday spaces of average Philadelphians. Stepping into the dome transports the viewer into a time and space outside of their own. The feeling is at once familiar and uncanny.
