How do I join?
If you’re interested in joining our growing artist community, please complete our Artist Registration.

What can I sell on ArtJawn?
1. You can sell original Art, Trade, Craft, or Design that you, the Artist, have made.

2. You can sell original artwork that you own if you can provide provenance of your item (no fraudulent work please)

3. You can sell original artwork that your gallery, organization, or event, is exhibiting/borrowing/collecting/auctioning (with permission of the artists)

4. You may sell reproductions, photographs, or prints of your original artwork (as defined in points one two and three) as long as it is clearly defined as a reproduction, the number of editions is provided, and it is clearly stated if it is sold framed or unframed.

5. You may sell supplies, skills, space, and odd items in the classifieds section.

6. You may post Art, Trade, Craft, and Design items or skills for Commissions.

How do I join the ArtJawn community?

If you want to become a member of the ArtJawn community, create a free account by clicking ‘Register’ on our homepage.

How do fees work on ArtJawn?
It is FREE to register and FREE to list your items.  We take a 20% commission from each sale, a portion of which goes towards building a Museum of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, PIMOCA.

How do I edit my Artist Profile?
To edit your Artist Profile, login to your account and select your profile link in the top right hand corner.  That will take you to your dashboard to make edits to your account, including your favorites, collections, classifieds, events, products, shipping and payment options.

We encourage you to browse through existing Artist Profiles for example bios and profile pictures.

How do I edit my payment info?
Artists can purchase and collect artwork through their Artist Accounts. To edit credit card information to purchase, simply follow the Payment Info link listed in your Seller Dashboard page.

This payment info is used for purchasing artwork from other artists, and these details are distinct from an artist’s personal account, through which artists receive payment for their own artwork.

How do I manage my inventory?
At anytime you can manage the quantity of an item, the cost of an item or the details of an item.  To edit your inventory, simply go to your Seller Dashboard page and select Manage Artwork.

I’m having trouble uploading my work.
As we are in beta stages of testing the site, please let us know if you have any trouble uploading or editing images, at admin@artjawn.com.  We give users the ability to upload any file within our list of accepted formats (.gif .jpg .jpeg .png .mp3 .wav .aiff .flac .m4a .ogg .wma .m4r .mp4 .mov .mpg .mpeg .avi .mkv .m4v) up to 5MB. If your file type is listed and you are still unable to upload your work please contact us and we will be happy to help!

What is the maximum upload size for an image?

For best results we ask that all images be 5MB or below.

How do I get paid?

When your item sells on ArtJawn we will notify you by email.  Once your item is delivered and we received notification from the shipping courier that the package has arrived, we will send payment through PayPal or Gusto.  Your payment should be received within 10 business days.

Can I offer custom items?
Yes!  You can offer custom items.  We recommend that you offer a starting price and specify that you are able to create custom orders.  Buyers can select the “Make an Offer” button next to the listing price with a description of their special requests.  From there Sellers are able to price the custom job accordingly and make price adjustments to accommodate the buyers request.

How do I become a featured Artist?
Interested in becoming a featured artist? Contact us at admin@artjawn.com with a detailed description of  why you would like to be listed as a featured artist and we will do our best to promote and feature new and select artist regularly.

When will I receive my order?
Sellers are required to ship their items within 3 business days of a completed order.

Shipping Costs

Please note: Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable for preference returns. Preference returns are returns that are made for any reason other than receipt of damaged/defective or incorrect merchandise.

ArtJawn.com uses 3 different carriers to make sure your items arrive to you on time:

  •  FedEx
  • UPS (United Parcel Service)
  • USPS (United States Postal Service)

What if I received my order damaged?
We apologize for the inconvenience if an item arrived damaged or defective. Click here and please fill out the requested information so we can further assist you. 

Do I need to create an account to purchase? 
Yes, we require all users to create an account before purchasing artwork on our site. With your ArtJawn account, you can: track your purchases; create collections; follow artists and receive updates when they upload new work; select your favorite works; and connect with other members of the ArtJawn community.  

Can I cancel an order prior to shipment?
Yes, you can cancel your order any time before shipment.  Once the packaged is received, you are able to return art 10 days after the delivery date if unsatisfied with the work. (For more information regarding our return policy please see: ArtJawn's 10-Day Guarantee.) 

What is ArtJawn's 10-Day Guarantee?
Artwork that is not an original work can be returned to the artist in its original condition and packaging.  Shipping fees will not be refunded and Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

The 10-Day Guarantee is NOT applicable to original work.

How do I change or reset my password?
If you’ve forgotten your password and need to reset it, please do the following:

Select Sign In from the Login popup window. Click Forgot my Password to open the Forgot Password page. 

To change your password, go to your Seller Dashboard, select Account Information and check the box to ‘Change Password.’

Who owns the copyright of the artwork?
Artists retain all copyrights to their artwork. Artists may exhibit work in promotional, non-commercial outlets (such as a personal website or social media) and gallery spaces.  For more information, please see our Artist Agreement here.
